Just finished a game that my bro introduced me... took away 2+ wks of my time!!! grrr... then suddenly when this mad cheonging is over, it feels like there's nothing to do at home... oh well... things will resume the old activities again soon! =) Now cheonging a recent side project which is taking shape! :) ... and that side project has been taking up a little more time than my normal daily tasks. :P

Talking about ideas, I'm pretty pleased that some of those ideas I really took pride in was spot on for the direction of the company and hence the industry. 2 years ago, when I first joined, I didn't really know this technical world well. And hence came up with an idea that got shot down, but that basic concept was the very direction of what the industry was taking, only that my knowledge of the implementation was too naive.

On a more recent note, the new concept idea that I made during the tech symposium actually became a crucial element in remaining the company's competitiveness, resulting in an allocation of serious power resources. Not that it was a brand new idea, it was a voice of many that became loud from that event, as well as the pressure from the recent largest consumer electronics show. I'm just glad that this view is also in the direction of the industry.

Moving even closer, this side project I'm working on kicked up a little excitement in my boss, who's been promoting it for me to all the higher management. This feeling of approval feels kinda nice. Someone making use of your idea and actively selling it is one of the best form of approval one can receive. At least for this time, what I've been doing has not gone to waste. Hopefully it could spark off a trend in future TVs... then I could proudly say, that started from me. =) oh well... I'm just having fun with that.

I only hope that the thing that really matters is just as spot on.

So yes, life's returned to normal after the holiday rush and then the game rush which is a combined total of 4 weeks. heh~ Back to swimming and bballing!
