I really can't imagine how life would be if my mobility becomes restricted to only the top half of my body, or if I'd lost a hand or if I lost an eye. While that doesn't mean the end of life, but that would also mean I lost half of my life. In fact, all my activities require my limbs in one form or another. Bball... piano... Programming... Cooking... My life would just be over and wasted if I had lost a pair of hands... and I'd become real fat if I can't exercise for the rest of my life. I'd just feel hyperactive after a while if i were to sit down for more than a few hours, not to say 365 days a year... Sighz... when one knows that a loved one is entering such a realm, how can one feel indifferent?
I thank my parents for giving me a healthy body, for giving me four perfect limbs, for giving me the privilege of living a normal life. I shall take care of my limbs, especially the legs... And to do that, I have to 减肥!!!5 more kg. yes! in 2 months. yes!
I really can't imagine how much worse things can get. When I thought that things were already bad enough after having gone through all those episodes in 2008. When I thought that it's the bottom. And yet, worse things could still happen. The above is one. Getting laid off from the job is another. What worse could happen man? It's just like the stock market. No one knows where's the bottom, and where's the peak. But everyone knows, once it's low enough, it'll get better in due time. Life shall get better. Just like I trusted Citi, I trust life.
Perhaps, everything is meant to be. It's meant to be that I have to go back early to take care of my loved ones. It's meant that I have to fly right after I learnt how to. It meant that I learnt many things through the hard way so that I'd benefit more in the future. Perhaps, it's also meant that a soulmate is waiting for my return.
Let's just see how life unfolds itself. Interesting times.
