Tio Burn.
Im again convinced that health problems do come in waves, just that this time is mainly more self-inflicted. Starting from knee and foot injuries 2 weeks ago and food poisoning the day before my flight back, to accidentally biting my own lips and causing 2 big nasty ulcers... Now I tio sun burn from being out in the sun for an entire day. Oh well...

Work.
Work sees more progress today! I'm happy. =) Owe it to someone who brought me luck today! haha~ Oh my... since when work relies on luck nowadays? Oh whatever... Good luck is better than no luck... hahah~ I was previously so worried that my lack of progress would leave my promotion, if not rice bowl, in jeopardy. Now I can finally smile. =)

Cost of raising a kid.
My colleague and I were discussing how much it would cost to raise a kid, say till of age, maybe 17 years. It's a little appaling to see how much that costs. My colleague was saying half a million for that... I guess, he's probably pretty much right... not to 17 though, but till 22-23, which includes college... Curious, I looked to Google for more information and studies show that on average, a slightly better environment would cost about a quarter million for a child till 17 years, and college expenses after that. That would amount to 12-15k a year for each child. Gosh... how big an impact that would be if there's only a single bread winner in the family, which probably isn't rare for the first few years of the new born? hmm... shows how important family planning is... Life's going to be tough with bad family planning. I thank my parents for who I am today.

Noticed something beautiful that rejuvenated in my bro... something that is different... something which was present long ago, but got lost in the recent years... His views, expressions and flames and sparkles of love and relationships. Things are going to be fun. And I know this because I stole one of his love post cards when I was really young and kept it from him. And I bet he doesn't know it till now. hee hee hee~ =)

Myself.
I have rested enough and slowly recovered from all sorts of poisons. It's time again for the next burst, for myself, or for a brighter future with a significant other in future. Whatever it is, financial assets is of great importance now and I should start writing my IPs again. Tired it may be, but it's definitely worth the efforts. I will soar and shine like an American Eagle, not puke like a Merlion. I will excel in my work, my dreams and my relationships. I will be a good team player, a persistent dream worker and a caring partner. I will make my family, my friends and whoever is concerned about me, proud of me. Jia you!!! =)
