Indifference.
I see that as the distinction between a leader and a follower. A good leader is always active, noisy and has initiative, while a follower is more passive in nature. Or perhaps, I was thinking too much, it's merely a disinterest in the subject. Email have always been met with low responses, and this is definitely omnipresent, be it in college or at work, Americans, or Singaporeans. Maybe this is the nature of people... If it's not your problem, why care? Or is this the nature of a doomed follower? Work. Every blog entries must have complaints about this these days, because it's still slow. Know a little bit more than before, but still not much headway. So yeah, super sian. Am I that incompetent? Or am I in the wrong field? Or is this the way engineering works? I know not. But one thing I know for sure is I'm certainly dissatisfied with the rate I'm going... And I'm really helpless about it. Someone help me please! Yahoo Proxy Battle. I know they are billionaires, but can someone tell Icahn and Jerry Yang stop spamming me with voting letters? You know how much time and energy is spent tearing up these pieces of paper? I'm not interested in your game and I've already given up hope on you and long sold all my Yahoo shares. So please stop spamming me. Besides, I WAS only a teeny weeny shareholder and so my vote won't really count much... hmm... Or maybe I shall cause trouble by voting for Icahn. But cannot lah, my friend at Yahoo will definitely murder me if she knows that. Jerry Yang of course won't want to sell Yahoo to Microsoft lahz... Who would want to sell their baby away? That's the problem with public companies. You no longer have absolute control over your baby. |
