Woohoo! I'm back into action! The past week has been really really hectic and happening!!! And it's not stopping until after my interview!!! For that, I gonna learn something which I haven't learnt before... and it's kinda interesting how someone can be interested in a person who doesn't meet the requirement at all, other than having a good looking GPA, which probably every other nerd would have (and have it much better!)

Oh well... Looking back at the point when I left Sg. Many things have happened. For one, many thanks to the typhoon in hk, I managed to clinch a business class seat to Chicago and a compensation of 400 bucks US! But for that, I'd have to delay my flight by a day. And that one day proves to be really precious! Read on and you'd know why.

After returning to the States, I have exactly 2 days to pack, settle everything including utilities, internet, and other stuff, clear the apartment of all furniture and stuff which my room mates and myself sold to the juniors (mind you, that really was no joke), and lastly, clean up the 4 bedroom apartment (oh, this was HELLLLLL!!!)! And if you think 2 days is a long time, I can tell you, it wasn't! Have been at work for almost the entire 48 hours and things were still not completely done!

For one, my room was a huge ass to pack, since I would have to plan on squeezing everything into my puny lil Honda coupe. (I was really glad that I could squeeze everything in, and not have to ship anything. Many many thanks to my bro who packed it! :)) While packing my room, random errands like helping friend to ship stuff and canceling the internet service, and others took up a few hours of my precious time which could be used to clean up the house or finish packing my room!

That done, next comes the 2 greatest nightmare of shifting. I was really glad and thankful that my friends (Alan, yun and others), and my bro especially, came to help shift the furniture and clean the apartment even though it wasn't technically their apartment. My bro was really nice and efficient in cleaning up the place, esp the kitchen, which is the scariest part of the house!!! Really thankful that he's there to help, otherwise the house would probably not be done by checkout! :) Thanks bro! And needless to say, my bro and myself got only 2 hours of sleep because of that.

And guess what, with that amount of sleep we drove 14 hours the following day to Denver! Best! What could be more dangerous than that?!! But fortunately, we're young people and could still take that. And of course, we're adults who know our limits. hahaha~ As such, it took us only 2.5 days to reach my bro's place in California... wooohooo... and if any of you are wondering, that was around 2000 miles of drive! And i've just calculated, the fuel cost amounts up to only $140 bucks ahhaha~ Which is not bad considering the long drive! Now looking at the fuel expenses, who would complain of the engine's incapability? hahaha~

Oh well, after resting for a day, now I've gotta sit down here and study my C++ for my interview! Hope I get it, cos if I do, I'd be working in nice warm and happy SD. And if that happens, I must make sure I get a nice apartment by the sea. hhehehe~ But apartment rentals are really damn ex there though. :( No money already!!! Hope they gimme more $$ for my pay.

Alright, gonna go back studying (quite a sad thing to do after graduation). Will be visiting Mer in a few days... haha~ She quite nice to let me stay over at her place in LA... hehz...

Oh yes, I also want to express my thanks to Yihan who has generously offered her room to store the juniors' stuff (even though she probably doesn't read this blog)!!! Thanks gal!

Yeap, so that's one thing which I learnt from this experience! Things are much quicker done if you have the right people on the team! And there are some things which you are better off working and depending on people than doing it alone! Yes! That's what brothers and friends are for!

Yup, must get the job in SD!!! Cheong ar!

Oh yes, did I not mention that the interview would last from 9.15 am to 2.30 pm? Crazy!!!

***Try dragging me and my friends *** =)

Inspiration Quotes

Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift

When the door of happiness closes, another opens, but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one which has been opened for us.

The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they'll love you back! Don't expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in their heart but if it doesn't, be content it grew in yours. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.

Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart smile.

There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real!

Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, enough hope to make you happy.

Always put yourself in others' shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the other person, too.

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

Happiness lies for those who cry, those who hurt, those who have searched, and those who have tried, for only they can appreciate the importance of people who have touched their lives. Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss and ends with a tear. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past, you can't go on well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.
