Really, after one whole day and 2 nights worth of thinking, I think I have finally concluded on an answer to that simple long-standing question that I have. This time I was more patient than the last. The first night was definitely emotions over-riding cognition. Then slowly, things subside and thoughts become straighter. Actually, it was answer based on a long stretch of time. Anyway, this answer that I finally ended up with isn't exactly the one that my beliefs would have preferred. It's more of a compromise of between emotions and beliefs. And I believe 990 out of 1000 guys would have done this same thing. And no, I'm not one of those remaining 10 guys. In fact, I'd think that out of those 10 guys, 9 of them must be indifferent (as in, don't really care) to their partners(which really is not my style), and the last one is the true philantropic (whom I believe have absorbed much suffering internally which the whole world doesn't know about). How about the girls then? I think at least 9 out of 10 girls would feel the same way as I do. In fact, come to think of it, among all the female friends I know, I think almost all would agree with me.
I'm absolutely and totally convinced that this problem will become the breaking point eventually if not ironed out. If it isn't 3 months, it's probably going to be in 3 years or 10, and I'm truly convinced that my opinion on this will not change at least for the next 5 years or even 10, and so I really wouldn't want that to happen. I believe my tolerance is already much higher than many people, and I know I can accept everything else. But somehow for this, I can't. But hey, I'm not a saint man and even a saint has his own death spot. Since the solution isn't something on my side, I've concluded that all I can do is wait... and wait... and wait... till the flame dies out or till the passive side gives an assurance. I'm absolutely certain that I'm not going on till a resolution is made. I'd rather trigger that mine now, rather than live in fear with it, or in other words, I'm prepared to give up the whole oil field if nothing is done to this mine in the field.
Anyway, on a side note, i quite like waking up early in the morning at 5.30am. It gives me a nice reminiece of the past, when I wake up early in the morning at 6am and go to school (at 7 :P) or when I travel to nice cool countries with my family. It's a feeling of happiness and joy, especially when breathing in the nice cool air that seeps in through the shut window. =)
