For a reason which I'm totally aware of, I only managed to get 2 hrs of sleep yesterday, before going off to teach little gals chatek at 7.30am, which also led to a question that I really had no answer for. What should one do when one doesn't want to do something against one's belief, but it hurts one greatly as a result of that belief? Of course, that isn't the question that I have in mind. The one that I have is a really simple innocent-looking 4 word question. Simple as it seems, it's actually the toughest one to me. Of course, who knows when I'm hurt, and who'd bandage that wound for me. Naive as I am, just like the girl in "my gf isn't 18", I'm certainly not a person who recovers just by being left alone. And I'm certainly not alone. At least, some of my friends talk to me to feel better when they're down.

Anyway, that aside, really had fun teaching little gals about Singapore and stuff... hhaa~ and had a chance to re-live my chatek days in tchs and hc, esp with my buddy and others. We were really good then man. And now, even with a serious lack of practice, I could still demonstrate pretty well. haha~ There's one time, when a little girl challenged me to see how many I could do, and without thinking, I accepted the challenge and tried. Not as many as I could do last time, but it's still quite impressive for little American girls. I juggled 33 times! And yes, my leg became really sore due to lack of training after that. sheesh... haha~ but the little girls were really thrilled. haha~ At least the one of the few skills I learnt in tchs proved useful. hehe` A pity I didn't have a chance to demo my wushu. Would really have liked to do it manz. I mean just show them the simple ones at least, cos I'm ultimately not in the right physical condition to do it really well. But stances like 鲤鱼打顶 and 后扫 are still evergreen skills. And if you talk about the simple display sets like 五步功, 六路弹腿,八极小架 are already deeply ingrained into all tchs wushuians alr... and there's no way you can erase that. haha~

Anyway, had fun writing chinese names (without dictionary!) for those lil kids too! But many of them, especially mine, are pretty "not-standard" translation. But who cares... they were thrilled anyway... hehe~ We aren't professionals too! We're but a bunch of college students who haven't touched chinese for at least 3 to 5 years! hehe~

yeap... so that was fun. But really tired now... Much hw to do too! gah... have slacked too much alr... senioritis has taken its toll on me.

***Try dragging me and my friends *** =)

Inspiration Quotes

Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift

When the door of happiness closes, another opens, but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one which has been opened for us.

The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they'll love you back! Don't expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in their heart but if it doesn't, be content it grew in yours. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.

Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart smile.

There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real!

Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, enough hope to make you happy.

Always put yourself in others' shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the other person, too.

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

Happiness lies for those who cry, those who hurt, those who have searched, and those who have tried, for only they can appreciate the importance of people who have touched their lives. Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss and ends with a tear. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past, you can't go on well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.
