Let it pass Let it pass Let it pass... A concept I've finally understood over the past 2 years. Given the past self, I'd probably argue until my point is proven or disproven. Now I realize there really isn't such a need. My reason being sometimes, some things don't really require an answer, cos there really isn't any absolute right or wrong answers to begin with. Also, talking too much about things which already have happened, isn't going to help either. And since it's not going to make her happier, it's probably not worth doing it. As long as she is happy with what was done, I'm pretty much fine with it too. yay! Other stuff don't really matter. Feeling happy with it is most important. hee~ =)
If only I had understood this reasoning 2 years back... I'd probably not have lost a friend then... sighz... if only time could go back...
Anyway, just had bball today, despite much efforts made to prevent myself from doing so... Gah... but then it was a pretty fun game... Didn't ask any friend to go this time, cos many of them couldn't make it. So went alone. Had much fun playing alone at the start and in a match after that. Think I'm getting better at my "secret skill" already... though still can't exhibit it naturally in a match. Gotta psycho myself more to perform it... hee~ Yeap, after that was a match with the ang mohs!!! With ang mo gals!!! Woot!!! mwahahaha~ of cos it's fun! Other than the fact that there're gals ard... the more politically correct reason is because I get to perform... unlike when I play with all guys... in fact I was pretty much the sole scorer of my team... Had an alley shot, a 3 pt shot, and a couple of lay-ups. nice!
Also, another good thing playing with gals is you don't mark them and they can't mark you. So quite fair... hahha~ many baskets!!!
I think bball is just like owning a business. At the start, it's really tough training, and it takes a long time to establish it to a point where you can finally be proud of it. Then there comes this glass ceiling stage where it takes a lot to break through. You try to move into new unexplored area or find things to improve on. With respect to bball, I think my shooting, layups and rebounds are already there, as in there isn't much I can improve on already. Then when you think you're stuck, there's actually still much to improve on. Dribbling, passing, setting pieces... I think I really have much to improve on those if I want to be an even better bballer... Of course, these skills (other than dribbling) require actual games to improve... mwahahaha~ The secret skill I'm training now, of course doesn't require team efforts... mwahaha~ It's purely for self satisfaction sake... hee~ I'm quite proud of it actually... that it isn't gone to waste... hee~ mwahahahhaha~ Keeping everyone in suspense here... hiak hiak hiak...
