They were saying, people who just get by their life in a happy go lucky manner are those who never has to worry. Although they'll never make it big, they'll not be extinct either. They'll be able to live as long as life lasts. Isn't this good? Yet there's this other bunch of people who's continuously striving for perfection, hoping for a chance to make it big. They are either very very successful, or they're living worse than the previous group of people. Immense pressure accompanies every effort striving towards the ultimate destination. The question is, is all this worth it? When you can just live your life by just passing the standards set for you. Do you still want to strive for the very best when you're only asked to do that much and at the expense of your precious time, which is badly needed for other stuff that you may have? Perhaps this is just the very adament behavior that some people have, a character that may be positive or negative, a character that may bring either great success or immense devastation to the person.
Well I got this kind of inspiration when I was doing programming (sadly, yes. Programming again, this semester). We are required to just do this and this stuff, but when we see a better way of doing it, something which will not earn us points for it, do we still do it? Does it make any sense to still improve on it when your proj has already met the requirements and perhaps, is already able to earn you the full credits for it, at the expense of your other work i mean? Perhaps this is just life. There're a lot of stuff that you'd want to do well, but they're going to affect something or another. Perhaps you just got to decide which are the stuff that you want to do well. Or perhaps you want to do everything well, but just not as well as you would like them to be? Perhaps I'd just choose the last suggestion. Yeah and perhaps I should go and work on my ECE 230 hw before I run out of time and got to sleep late again. Yeah... so there!
