Arrgh! Made a terrible mistake at the shop today! But never mind, I'm sure there's still a way to remedy the situation. Just realised building things aren't as easy as it seemed... but then again expectations aren't as high as it appears... Have been giving too much pressure on myself to come up with a super perfect model, and thus being very particular abt many things... But then again, i could achieve the same things by using a far easier method, ie instead of welding, i can simply stick everything together using super strong glue, like what we used to do during art lessons during pri and sec sch days... But don't play play with this glue man, it can really stick!!! It can handle as heavy as 1.5k tonnes!!! Think it's one of those kind that when you accidentally scratch your nose while using it, your finger will be stuck to it forever!!! and need to go for operation... wahhaa~ how amusing... Well, hope i dun make that mistake now that I've anticipated it...

Yes, anticipation is the best way to avoid as many mistakes as possible, as I've realised. However, sometimes it's really hard to avoid mistakes. But most importantly, after that, reflect on what happened, what have I done wrong, what can I do to avoid that again, how can I change so that it would not happen again? Rational Analysis and evaluation of the mistake makes that mistake worthwhile and we have to LEARN from it, ANTICIPATE and not make the same ones again and again... Mistakes are lessons of life, nature's way of teaching us how to live better... I'm so glad that I have much flair in this... Mistakes always come to me when I'm trying out new things... I Can never get the thing right the first time (Against the SAF saying of Do it Right The First Time)... But I'm so glad that I learn fast from it, through the procedures above and take care not to commit the same ones again... As such, making more of the same mistakes doesn't mean that one is so-called more experienced than another, who makes the mistake only once. It's about how we learn and gather the necessary experience from it. That is the true experience one would have gained from that mistake. Actually i would say that the former is much less experienced than the latter, because the former doesn't make use of the opportunity to see what had gone wrong and learn from it, and thus making the same mistakes over and over again and each time, lamenting over it... I mean, what's the point right? Mistake is made, then try to correct it so that it doesn't happen again... and even if it does, try again... But if it's always recurring, there's really some serious soul-searching that needs to be done... What for lamenting and torturing yourself just because you don't learn from the mistakes and the mistakes keep appearing in front of you again and again? Who is to blame? The mistake?

haha~ Anyway, sorry to have made all of you read through this mess... Just being inspired by a mistake =)

Inspiration Quotes

Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift

When the door of happiness closes, another opens, but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one which has been opened for us.

The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they'll love you back! Don't expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in their heart but if it doesn't, be content it grew in yours. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.

Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart smile.

There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real!

Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, enough hope to make you happy.

Always put yourself in others' shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the other person, too.

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

Happiness lies for those who cry, those who hurt, those who have searched, and those who have tried, for only they can appreciate the importance of people who have touched their lives. Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss and ends with a tear. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past, you can't go on well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.
