waaahaaa!!! The 1st computer research was the Charles Babbage's Difference Engine and Anlytical Engine in 1823!!! And the 1st programmer was Ada Lovelace, daughter of Poet Lord Byron...

It's easier to manufacture computers with binary numbers (1 or 0) because 1 represents high voltage and 0 represents low voltage. A RAM is divided into cells and each cell contains 4 bytes and each byte contains 8 bits, and each bit represents a binary no... RAM is measured by the no. of bytes it contains and 1 KB = 1024 bytes or 2^10 Bytes due to the binary numbers i think... which explains why it's not 10^3.... yeah!

CPUs are the brains of the computers and executes instructions stored in the RAM. They are measured by clock speed... 1 Hz means 1 cycle/s and 1MHz means 1 Million cycles/s!!! Mine's 2.7GHz... Hmm how much is that?.. Wah! so fast siaz...

Storage Devices have volatile and non-volatile ones. Volatile ones lose their memory upon Power Off button and non-volatile ones don't. RAM is a volatile storage device and CDs are non-volatile... Oh my!!!

The word "modem" comes from Modulator-DEModulator and it's a device converting analog signals to digital and digital signals to analog... hmm...

Do you realise that the power Switch is a Stylised Representation of the binary no. 0 and 1 together, showing how important and fundamental binary no. are in computers....? wooohooo!!!

So much information to read!!! but of course none of these are tested... hee~ juz curious reading... or rather, ignorant reading... yeah!
